Sending Love and Light to you right now!

Greetings, blessings and ease of heart to you also.

This month's feature artist is Alice Mason. You can also find her on FaceBook under "Alice Mason Artist". I truly enjoy hunting for goddess-inspired pieces for newsletters and flyers!

I am very ready to step out of my busy life in order to take a personal retreat next week! I am making a pilgrimage to Mount Madonna in California, to spend time recharging my battery in the mountains and forest, and to pay respects to my beloved teacher Baba Hari Dass, who is 93. The ashram is also home to a vibrant Hanuman temple, so guess where I will be at 6am and 6pm every day?

As a result, there will be some class changes over the end of May and beginning of June, and some inspired events when I return. Please refer to the schedule below. And check out the special June events near the end of this newsletter! And feel free to share this email with friends.

Hatha Yoga extra classes @ KML Amenity Room, 21 Nassau St:
Friday May 27, 12:30-1:45pm $15
Sunday May 29, 10-11:30am $15

Women's QiGong:
Mondays 6-7:15pm $15 @ Akasha Studios, 351 Danforth Ave, second floor
Note: No classes May 30, June 6 or June 20. Regular classes on June 13 and June 27. Silver River will be hosting a special Summer Solstice event on June 20 starting at 7pm, by donation. Please come out as it will be a lovely ritual to mark the longest day of the year, and our friend Sarah Hamsa will lead some sacred movement.

Hatha Yoga (Pay What You Can)
Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30-6:45pm @ KML Amenity Room, 21 Nassau St.
Classic asana, breathwork, meditation, therapeutics; soothing chanting during relaxation.
Note: No classes Tuesday May 31 or Thursday June 2.
Extra note: Special guest teacher Alan Gensho Florence, freshly returned from his retreat, will lead on Tuesday June 7.

QiGong/Yoga Nidra
Thursdays 7:15-8:30pm $20 @ KML Amenity Room, 21 Nassau St.
QiGong and Yoga Nidra together, which is a match made in heaven. We begin by playing qigong to open up the flow in our physical and subtle energy systems. When we lie down for the guided meditation afterwards, we dive directly into a deep healing zone. Spring focus is on clearing and balancing our chakras.
Note: no class on Thursday June 2.

Private yoga, Reiki sessions and Tarot readings
available on request. Please email me at  karusia@shaktiflow.com.

HANUMAN CHALISAS!
Please join me on Friday June 10 from 7-9pm at the beautiful Ayurvedic Rituals Spa-Temple, 1081 Bathurst St., just south of Dupont. We will chant the miracles and adventures of Hanuman, the beloved monkey deity of India. Energy follows thought....as we focus on Hanuman's valour, devotion and wisdom, we raise our vibration to match his. His frequency helps us to move beyond any obstacles with ease and grace. Newcomers are welcome, songsheets provided. This will be an especially juicy event as I will just be back from Mount Madonna, after having spent lots of time chanting at the Hanuman Temple there! By donation.
Dancing on the Beach!
Women's Wellness Circle
Friday June 17, 7:30-9:30pm. $20
The lovely Jill Hewlett has invited me to lead an outdoor dance event to get us in the mood for the Summer Solstice. Her monthly circles bring women together in community to experience movement, art and inspiration of all kinds (check her website for the east end circles, &/or check FB) I attended the May event for mandala creation, and I can tell you it was fantastic, relaxing and FUN! We will be on the beach by the water...playing with circle dances, improvisation and veils. Veils are magical extensions of our heart energy, and are pure delight. Pleas bring along a special shawl or piece of flowing fabric; I will also bring extras if you need to borrow one.
Blessings! Blessings! May your days flow with effortless ease.
