Beloved Reader,
When the ground is knocked out from under our feet, we need to soften and lean in to what is. The old “normal” may never return; and any clinging only creates suffering. Such attachments tie up valuable resources that could better be directed towards creative solutions and unexpected growth.
As we are all asked to keep respectful physical distancing, I am looking for ways to continue to offer classes in movement healing arts to you, and as many people as possible. I also understand that incomes have been compromised, so I have a variety of offerings available to you.
Zoom is proving to be a blessing! It is a platform that makes it possible to connect, and to practise yoga, qigong, and movement in the comfort of your own home.
Here a few benefits of online classes:
- no commute time
- a feeling of safety
- privacy if you wish it, by turning off your video button. You can still see and hear everything, but no one can see you! You could be participating in your underwear or pyjamas.... You don’t even need to brush your teeth…
- a sense of community and connection
- the ability to engage in healing and regenerative practices
I have even had the delight of reconnecting with dear friends who live in other countries and cities!
And here are a few Zoom tips (I am still learning all the time):
- You will get the best reception if you close other windows and apps on your computer or device. This also includes other people using the internet in the house at the same time.
- Do a quick test run of your audio and video ahead of time.
Please let me know what you need right now, and how I can help. I feel I have been entrusted with a lot of wisdom practices over my lifetime, and the time is ripe to share widely and well for the highest good of all concerned.
Blessings,
Karusia Nirmala
