Sending Shimmering Summer Love!

Epona is a goddess of horses and abundance. In Emily Balivet's painting, we see two- and four-legged beings in perfect harmony and repose. In other depictions, we might see Epona on horseback riding like the wind and transcending the earthly plane....

Tibetans speak of "windhorse", a creature of mythology and a symbol of perfectly flowing energy. This "wind" is the same as Yogic prana, Chinese qi and Japanese ki. It is also known as pneuma in Greek, ruach in Hebrew and nilch'i to the Navajo. This vitality is universal!

Among traditional horse cultures like Tibet, the ideal of the windhorse arose from the strength, speed, energy, endurance, and dignity of the horse coupled with the movement, power and mystery of wind and air.

This energy can be harnessed, but it cannot be forced or owned. Old ways of horsemanship spoke of "breaking" the horse and "showing it who's boss"; new ways seek to respect the natural intelligence, power and dignity of the horse and partner with it. In the same way, we can learn to join up and flow with prana. We can learn to harmonize our bodies, minds, emotions and spirits with positive, life-giving energy that refreshes us and recharges our batteries. This is what we discover and rediscover through the inner practices of Yoga and QiGong.

As I think about what I do and what I offer, I understand more and more that I am only involved with one thing: prana! Whether it is yoga, qigong, dance, horse medicine, Tarot, Reiki, Hanuman or chanting...all of it boils down to listening to the flow of energy and riding it towards joy. You can face anything with grace and creativity whenever prana is abundant.

If you feel called, please come out to experience some of my offerings below or email me with any questions or to book a private session. You are always welcome.
