The days are longer, the birds are singing and we can all feel that spring is very close....isn't it wonderful?
Renewal is in the air. It's the perfect time to make positive changes and clear the energy within and around us.
Today happens to be the first day of Lent in the Christian calendar. Lent is a season of "spring training" for the soul in preparation for the glory of Easter. Traditionally it is a time of sacrifice, and of giving up habits that keep us separate from The Source of All.
What if we were to redirect our energy away from denial and towards communion with Love instead? What would it feel like to wake, sleep, breathe, eat and go about our daily plans in a state of Grace? With such one-pointed devotion that not even one thought bubbled up in opposition to this new reality? I suspect that any obstacles would simply fall away without struggle.....Sounds lovely to me! Shall we give it a try?
Positive change takes focus, will and surrender. It is an art as well as a science. Thank goodness we have support in other like-minded people and communities, and in practices that hone our skills and top up our Joy.
